I will be picking up an 8 week old English Springer Spaniel puppy in October. My goal is to honestly document her first year in our house.

Why? It’s simple really. I have read and researched thoroughly, taken advice from experts and people with huge experience, and have found that they regularly disagree on many things. From putting puppy-pads in their crate, using treats & clickers to train, and even the sometimes controversial topic of tail-docking, I have decided how I want to raise my puppy – lets see how it goes 🙂

Throughout this blog I will update photos, videos & describe my experiences along with answering your questions and taking feedback. Most importantly this blog will, hopefully, show you what to expect in the first year of raising a puppy through the eyes of a first time dog owner.
